All cladding is pressure treated green, which will maximize the timbers lifespan by up-to 15 years! It also creates an effective barrier to infestation by insects and fungi. This shiplap Cladding is made from high quality certified Scandinavian 125mm x 16mm redwood timber. Its finished size after machining is approx 120mm x 12mm and each board covers approx 110mm. It is preservative pre-treated with Tanalith E Extra giving the timber water repellent properties. This cladding can be left to weather naturally or coated using an solvent based systems such as Sadolin Classic. Note: water based stains/paints are not suited for application over our special water repellent timber. Shiplap cladding can be painted, varnished or stained to suit the project.
