The Yak Strata has been designed to be a versatile dry suit, ideal for general purpose sit on top, touring and sea kayaking. Made with a breathable 3-layer material which doesn’t compromise on durability, the Strata will keep you comfortable in all weather conditions.
Neoprene wrist and neck seals with adjustable outer cuffs makes this suit more comfortable than the traditional latex seals. Having an outer cuff will also improve the longevity of the seals themselves as they have a hard-wearing outer layer protecting them. Although neoprene seals are slightly less waterproof than latex, they will be much more comfortable over a longer period of time without rubbing and offer a great alternative if you have a latex allergy.
This suit also includes a high visibility hood to keep you comfortable and safe for when the weather gets worse. The hood folds back into the collar when not in use so that it isn’t in the way for normal paddling.
The rear entry YKK aquaseal zip mean that the Strata has a large opening making it easy to put on and take off. Positioned across the back of your shoulders to keep it out of the way when in use enabling as much flexibility within the suit as possible. This is also aided by a flexible lower back panel and articulated knee and elbow panels to ensure the best fit possible for a wide range of paddlers both in and out of the boat.
In conclusion, the Yak Strata is an adaptable and hard-wearing dry suit that will last a long time. It is ideal for anyone looking to be able to paddle whatever the weather with confidence that you will be protected and comfortable with any conditions that you may encounter.
