The mechanical compression design gives a leak-proof connection without welding or fusion tooling, and the integrated C-Clip retention keeps the MDPE pipe securely gripped once fitted, removing the risk of pipe pull-out under load. Built from nickel-plated brass for corrosion resistance, the fitting uses a conical nitrile rubber seal tested to EN 682, the recognised standard for elastomeric seals in gas applications, and meets EN 1555-2 for mechanical PE pipe fittings.
