Amazing Mould Putty is a simple, easy-to-use, way of creating your own moulds for resin, food, soap, wax, clay or more. It is the furniture upcycler’s saviour when furniture pieces have mouldings or trims missing, allowing them to create a replica mould and cast a perfect replacement! - Cures in just 15-20 minutes - Use Aluminite’s Amazing Casting Resin to cast more parts using your new mould Kit Size: 2 part mould putty tubs (150g each) and full instructions for use. How To Create a Mould Using Mould Putty: 1. Clean your hands prior to mixing putty. 2. Measure equal amounts of ‘A Side’ and ‘B Side’ tubs (white and yellow), judging the quantity you will need to cover the item you are moulding over. 3. Knead the two parts together in your hand, rolling and squishing the putty to help it mix and blend to a consistent overall colour. We strongly recommend you take no longer than 1 minute to complete this step. 4. Roll the putty into a ball to eliminate the creases in the mixed putty then, starting from the highest point of your item, mould the putty around the part, taking care to push it into any detailing. Continue this step until the part is completely covered (max time - 2 minutes). 5. Allow the part to sit whilst the putty cures to a soft, flexible rubber that will maintain its shape. Temperature and thickness of mould will determine how long the curing process takes - normal room temperature is approximately 15-20 minutes). 6.
