Amazing Casting Resin is a simple, easy-to-use, white urethane resin that creates a durable casting with perfect cosmetics and intricate details. - Cures in just 5-12 minutes - Transitions from clear to opaque white when curing - Easily stained, dyed, painted or drilled - Can be used with your own homemade moulds (create replica castings using Amazing Mould Putty ) Kit Size: 2 part casting resin bottles (237ml / 8 fl. Oz. Each), 2 x stirring sticks, 3 x measuring cups and full instructions for use. How To Use With Moulds: 1. Ensure your silicone mould is clean and free of any dust and read instructions contained within the kit. 2. Measure equal amounts of ‘A Side’ and ‘B Side’ bottles into two separate measuring cups. 3. Pour entire contents of both cups into a third paper or plastic mixing cup (ensure that the third cup is large enough for the combined quantity of resin and avoid styrofoam cups). 4. Slowly and thoroughly mix the resin with a mixing stick for 30 seconds or until the mixture is fully clear, with no white ‘swirls’ (this is crucial - if liquids are not thoroughly mixed together they will not cure evenly and you will get a poor result so scrape around the edges and bottom of the cup too). 5. For small castings, warming the silicone mould in a microwave or oven, prior to casting, can help achieve more consistent results. 6. Pour slowly into the silicone mould from one end, allowing the liquid to fill without air bubbles. 7. Wait 10 minutes, during which the resin will begin to turn from clear to white as it hardens and cures. 8. When resin is fully cured to solid opaque white, you may pop the casting out of the mould. 9. Heating your moulding will allow you to bend it if applying to a curved surface. 10. If painting your casting, you will achieve best results by doing this immediately after demoulding. If you need to paint your mould at a later time, use a primer such as Dixie Belle’s Slick Stick or Fusion’s Ultra Grip , before painting. Please note: Not for sale to persons under the age of 18.
