These Decor Stencils can be used on a range of surfaces, including painted furniture and fabric, and are bendable, for curved surfaces, durable, reusable and washable. Let your creative talents loose! Diamond Flourish measures 17.25"x21" (sheet size) 15.5"x17.3" (design size) Size: Each stencil has a 0.8mm thickness. How To Apply: - Wait for your paint to dry if you have painted the base - Lay on your stencil (use low tack masking take to hold in place if necessary) - Using a stencil brush , apply your medium in small amounts (it’s useful to keep a piece of kitchen towel next to you to lay off on, if your brush is overloaded - too much paint or other medium can end up bleeding underneath the stencil). - Using a vertical ‘stippling’ motion, tap your brush to lay off paint. You can try placing bristles on the surface and using a ‘swirling’ motion to deposit more paint and speed up the process. Stencilling requires patience, but you can speed up once you’ve got the hang of it! - See our Stencilling Video in the Stencils section for further hints and tips. - When you’re happy with your work, gently peel back the stencil.> - Wash your stencil and gently clean off the paint/medium you’ve used, to keep the edges of your stencil pattern clean and crisp, ready for your next project!
