Created in response to a demand made by the British Army Polo players during the 1930’s, who called for a timepiece that could withstand impact on the wrist during a match, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso watch offered a unique swivel system that tucked the face of the watch away to sit against the wrist. This beautiful timepiece has been designed especially for the lady’s elegant wrist. A stunning silver guilloche dial features captivating blue-coated central hands and crisp Arabic numerals positioned around the hour track. The minute railtrack feature loosely mimics the shape of the outer case, and of course, the “Jaeger-LeCoultre” lettering stands as proud as ever below the twelfth hour. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal glass front, which has undergone JLC’s cutting edge anti-reflective technology. Together these qualities help to protect the surface of the dial whilst also ensuring that legibility is maintained throughout the day. This 30-meter water resistant rectangular case, inspired by the popular Art Deco era, features the same clean lines seen in some of the very first Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso watches. Inside the case is the 657 quartz movement, composed of 43 individual parts. The polished stainless steel case reflects the same finishes seen in this sophisticated link bracelet that secures to the lady’s wrist with a smooth foldable clasp.
