Designed by Mark Braun, the elegant and timeless Nomos Glashutte Metro Date watch is a stylish and practical companion for business, leisure and travel. Its slender case profile crafted from stainless steel has been integrated with 30-meter water resistance and sits at a mere height of just 7.8mm. The model presents the time on a ruthenium-coated dial with minute green minute markers and rhodium-coated central hour and minute hands. A pop of colour is also seen at 6 o’clock where a red second hand sits inside a small second sub-dial located above the date complication. This feature donates more space to the passing minutes and hours of the day on the main display. As with all Nomos watches, the Metro is protected by a lens crafted from sapphire crystal glass - a remarkably strong material that is also used on the caseback to grant a clear view into the manufacture of the beautifully decorated Nomos Alpha movement. The manual-winding movement provides a 43-hour power reserve and only requires winding once every two days.
