This classic black and steel sports watch from Panerai’s Luminor watch collection boasts a chronograph complication for using as a stopwatch feature, as well as a means to tell the time. The watch measures a 44mm diameter and has been crafted from stainless steel and built with a 100-meter water resistance. Inside this robust steel casing is an in-house movement that provides a 42-hour power reserve. The Calibre P.9200 automatic engine beats to the rhythm of 28,800 vibrations per hour and puts its arrangement and performance on show through a sapphire crystal glass caseback. The front of the case also features this same scratch resistant and anti reflective glass, protecting the dial from dust, debris, moisture, heat and denting. The black dial of the Panerai Luminor Chrono watch features a luminous hour track represented in Arabic numerals and stick indexes, as well as luminous central hands. The watch features a central chronograph second hand, a 30-minute sub-counter at 3 o’clock and a small second sub-dial at 9 o’clock. Surrounding all these features is a useful tachymeter scale for measuring speed based on distance or distance based on time. The display has also received an injection of blue seen in the chronograph hands. The model is completed on a classic black alligator leather strap with a stainless steel fastening engraved with the iconic Officine Panerai logo.
