Jaeger LeCoultre Polaris 41mm Black Dial Men's Automatic Leather Strap Watch Q9008470. The beautifully stylish Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Automatic watch has been engineered to last a lifetime. Crafted from the finest in materials, the solid stainless steel casing which spans a diameter of 41mm across the gent’s wrist, has been integrated with 100-meter water resistant technology. The diver-inspired model harks back to the Memovax line. The design, which was created in 1968 was originally intended to notify the diver to come up to the surface thanks to an innovative diver’s alarm. This newer design repeats the same chunky bezel and the two off-centre crowns - one for adjusting the rotating rehaut at 2 o’clock, and one for adjusting the time at 4 o’clock. A shiny black leather strap promises comfort on the wrist, fitted with a stainless steel fastening. The indexes on the dial have been coated in luminescent technology to enhance legibility during the dark, whilst a sapphire crystal glass front offers a crisp view through the lens into the dial. Inspired by instruments used for vintage cars, the Jaeger-Le-Coultre Polaris Automatic watch is steeped in elegance. Perfect as a dress watch, the gentleman can enjoy the simplicity of the dial with the iconic “Jaeger-LeCoultre” lettering adding desirable status to the dial. The watch is given an impressive 40-hour power reserve thanks to the in-house developed Jaeger-LeCoultre 898E/1 movement, consisting of 195 individual parts. The movement can be viewed from the back of the case where an exhibition caseback has been equipped with a sapphire crystal sheet of glass for ultimate viewing pleasure.
