The SEVENFRIDAY M-Series “Spaceship” watch comprises seven layers to its designs and 11 applied parts that create a multilevel interface with a striking three-dimensional effect. These sandblasted and polished black and gunmetal discs form an aerodynamic Y-Wing structure, emblazoned with the SEVENFRIDAY logo at the 3 o’clock hour mark. The Y-Wing shape leaves space to showcase the three overlapping white discs that innovatively indicate the hours, minutes and seconds when read from left to right. The watch’s striker red highlights placed at 9 o’clock indicate the hour on the left and striker red arrow indicates the minutes on the right. Seconds float in increments of 5 above the identification plate. Asymmetrically placed, the decorative screws on the upper disc enhance the industrial spirit of the SEVENFRIDAY M-Series “Spaceship” watch. The grooved black silicone serves as bumpers on the animation ring. The case is crafted from stainless steel and measures a broad 47mm diameter. It has been executed with a gunmetal PVD coating and is fitted with a bezel in the same finish. The case is also 30-meter water resistant and fitted on a classic black calf leather strap. Inside the case of this SEVENFRIDAY “Spaceship” watch is a Japanese automatic movement and the caseback features an NFC chip embedded into its surface, allowing secured authentication and registration.
