The 38.5mm watch focuses on the importance of straight-forward timekeeping, offering plenty of space to reference the hours of the day on a galvanized, white silver-plated display. A domed sapphire crystal glass provides a protective covering over a set of blued indexes at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock. In between these are black dot markers surrounded by a detailed minute track. Oxidised black hour and minute hands contrast against a red-coated second hand positioned inside the small second sub-counter at 6 o’clock. Beautifully proportioned and celebrating a clean, minimalist dial layout - this men’s Nomos Metro 38 watch presents the same blue, black and red colourways that the collection first became renowned for. The timepiece secures to the wrist with a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan strap with quick-change spring bars that enable the watch to be effortlessly transformed on another strap option. The 30-meter water resistant model houses an in-house movement crafted by the hands of experts at the German manufacturer’s ateliers. The manual winding Alpha movement features tempered blue screws, rhodium-plated surfaces, Glashutte ribbing and a crown wheel adorned with Glashutte sunburst decoration - all of which can be admired through the back of a sapphire exhibition feature.
