The fundamental modification of the stunning Metro Neomatik 41 Update watch is its innovative date complication which borders the very edge of the watch’s galvanized white silver-plated dial. The two apertures that flank each side of the significant day of the month are filled with red for referencing the date quickly and effortlessly. This complication is thanks to Nomos’ in-house DUW-6101 movement, which provides a 42-hour power reserve. The engine propels a set of black oxidised hands around a crisp minute track identified by five-minute increments and grey-coloured circular indexes. The entire surface of the dial, including the small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock is protected underneath an anti reflective sapphire crystal glass front. The large automatic movement is also visible through the same material on the underside of the watch.
