A super fun and creative product, Crackle is perfect for creating that aged, cracked effect on your project. How to Apply: 1. Apply one coat of Dixie Belle Paint in the colour of your choice. If natural wood is desired, apply one coat of Clear Coat and let dry completely. 2. Stir the Crackle and apply. Do not thin the crackle medium. The thicker the application, the larger the cracks. Use a cross-hatch brush stroke to create erratic and wide cracks. Allow Crackle to dry completely anywhere from 30 minutes to overnight. TOP TIP - Do not back brush when applying the medium as this will disturb the cracking process. 3. Apply a top coat of any Dixie Belle Paint color. The cracking process begins as the paint dries. Let dry completely for 24 hours. You can then seal or use other Dixie Belle accenting mediums, such as waxes or glazes, to add extra dimension to your project.
