Helping them to help others, Nomos Glashutte’s Tangente 50 Years Doctors Without Borders watch is limited to 2021 pieces to mark the year of its release and supports the Emergency Aid organisation. Marking the Emergency Aid’s 50th year, the Tangente 38 represents the time on a dark grey textile woven strap. The south of the dial also features an inscription “50 ans de Medecins Sans Frontieres”. The white galvanized silver-plated dial displays oxidised black central hour and minute hands and an hour track represented in crisp black Bauhaus-inspired Arabic numeral hour markers. The 12 o’clock location is presented in a bright red colour to commemorate the Emergency Aid colour. Alternating with the Arabic numerals are stick indexes protected underneath a sapphire crystal glass front. The 38mm watch also features a small second sub-dial at 6 o’clock with an accompanying black oxidised second hand. Inside the case of the Nomos Tangente 50 Years Doctors Without Borders Limited Edition watch, which is crafted from stainless steel and equipped with 30-meter water resistance, is the manual-winding Alpha movement. It delivers a 43-hour power reserve and only requires winding once every two days.
