Highly desired for their exclusivity and rareness, this set of two Panerai Luminor watches is inspired by watches developed before the Vendome era, particularly those manufactured by Panerai between 1993 and 1997. This period marked the point at which Panerai was acquired by Vendome, part of the Richemont Group. The two models are both powered by the P.5000 Calibre, which combines two integral features - an 8-day power reserve and a manual winding concept. Its structure recalls old movements with two plates concealing most of the wheels. The movement also beats at a rhythm of 21,600 vibrations per hour and remains concealed behind a solid stainless steel caseback equipped with 300-meter water resistance. The limited-edition two-piece set features one stainless steel case and one black PVD coated stainless steel case, both of which measure a 44mm diameter. The top of each case is equipped with a strong pane of anti reflective sapphire crystal glass to protect a sleek black dial seen in the black-coated case version and a white dial featured in the standard steel version. The Black Seal watch features a calf Ponte Vecchio dark brown strap, while the Daylight model is completed on a dark blue alligator leather strap. Each watch features a small second sub-dial - the white dial version positioned at 9 o’clock - the black small second display positioned at 3 o’clock. To finish, both Panerai Luminor 8 Day Limited Edition watches are displayed in a stunning pear wood presentation box.
