Briswim Alkali Treatment
Briswim Alkali Treatment is used to increase the pH of pool and spa water.
If the pH reduces to pH 7.2 or below, dissolve the required dose of Alkali into a plastic container of water. When dissolved add the solution into the pool evenly to ensure good mixing.

Test pool water daily using a suitable test kit.
Use Alkali to maintain a pH reading between pH 7.2 – pH 7.8 ideally pHpH 7.4- pH 7.6.
A dose rate of 1kg/100M3 (22,000 gallons) pool water is a guide.
The quantity of Alkali required may vary according to the total alkalinity and Calcium Harness factors of the pool/spa water.
Additions of Alkali should continue daily until the pH is satisfactory.
At least 12hrs, and preferably 24hrs, should be allowed between doses and further test kit reading, to allow thorough mixiing adjustment material.
