Nurofen for Children 3 months to 12 years Strawberry 100mg/5ml Oral Suspension Nurofen for Children is a strawberryflavoured oral suspension for shortterm relief of fever and pain in babies and children aged 3 months to 12 years (weighing over 5 kg). It is suitable for temperature spikes after immunisation, teething, sore throats, earache, cold and flu symptoms, and other minor aches. This product contains ibuprofen 100 mg per 5 ml in a readytouse liquid. For oral and shortterm use only shake the bottle well before use and measure doses accurately with the supplied oral syringe. Not suitable for children under 3 months or weighing less than 5 kg. Follow the age/weight dosing guidance on the leaflet: e.g. for fever after immunisation one 2.5 ml dose if necessary (a second 2.5 ml may be given 6 hours later; do not give more than 2 doses in 24 hours). For general fever/pain, doses are given every 68 hours (leave at least 4 hours between doses) with agespecific volumes; do not exceed the recommended daily total. Active ingredient: ibuprofen 100 mg per 5 ml. The full list of excipients, flavourings and other ingredients is provided in the enclosed leaflet read it carefully before use. Do not give if your child is allergic to ibuprofen/NSAIDs, has (or has had) stomach ulcers or bleeding, or has fructose intolerance. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use if your child has asthma, heart, liver, kidney or bowel problems, is dehydrated, has chicken pox, or other listed conditions.
