Nurofen for Children 100mg Chewable Capsules Orange 7+ Years Nurofen for Children is a paediatric pain reliever and fever reducer designed for short-term use in children aged 7 to 12 years. It is recommended for relief of common childhood aches, pains and fever such as toothache, headache, cold or flu symptoms, and minor injuries. Do not give to children under 7 years. These orange chewable capsules are flavoured and formulated for easy administration. The soft capsule should be chewed before swallowing. Doses may be given approximately every 6 to 8 hours, with a minimum of 6 hours between doses. For 79 years give two capsules up to three times in 24 hours; for 1012 years give three capsules up to three times in 24 hours. Use for oral and short-term use only and consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen after 3 days. Each soft capsule contains 100 mg ibuprofen as the active ingredient. The product also contains glucose, sucrose and soya lecithin. See the package leaflet for full ingredient and allergy information. Warning: Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not take if allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or related painkillers, or if you have had recurrent stomach ulcers, perforation or bleeding. Do not take with other NSAIDs or aspirin above 75 mg daily. Speak to a pharmacist or doctor before use if there is a history of asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, stroke, or heart, liver, kidney or bowel problems. Adults taking this product should seek advice if pregnant, trying to conceive, a smoker or elderly. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
