A traditional, creamy, unpasteurised Lancashire
cheese, with a wonderfully moist, pressed texture, and a mellow
tang. Perfect size for an impressive cheese board. Delightful with
a rich fruit cake or Christmas Pudding. Mrs Kirkhams Lancashire is
an unpasteurised cows' milk cheese made using a natural culture and
natural animal rennet and is initially matured for at least 6 weeks
before it leaves the farm. The cheese then continues to mature for
up to 12 months which produces a fuller and more rounded flavour.
All the cheeses are cloth bound and butter finished which helps to
develop a unique rind which encapsulates the cheese's texture and
