Parker Safety Razor 76C A very traditional easy load butterfly razor, suited at the accomplished DE shaver because of the blade gap. However I disagree as a baptism of fire is not a bad thing, you learn to respect the razor very quickly . Prepare the skin with a thick layer of shaving soap/cream and using the reduction shaving method, to "reduce" that beard. Two passes is an acceptable shave, with the grain and then across the grain. If you want the baby smooth result then a further against the grain is required. This is not an essential pass. Traditional shaving is the old school method for performing that cost effective daily shave.
