Cahlista means beautiful one and this collection certainly ticks all the boxes! Scheepjes Cahlista is a recycled waste water produced yarn made from 100% natural, double gassed Cotton in Aran weight. Naturally matte, soft and breathable, use Scheepjes Cahlista in a wide range of projects from garments for children and babies, to flowing shawls and scarves, amigurumi, homeware items and more. It is further characterised by a generous twist, designed to reduce splitting whilst maintaining a soft, delicate drape. Cahlista has also been double gassed, meaning it has been passed over a naked flame to singe away all stray fibres, not once, but twice, ultimately creating an exceptionally smooth yarn that will glide over your hook or needles. Being EN71-3 certified, create wonderful projects that are certified safe to use by those with sensitive skin such as babies or children. Recommended needle size is 4.50-5.00mm.
