These are glue-down cork tiles. The recommended adhesive for installing cork tiles is contact adhesive for cork floors; this means that the adhesive has to be applied on both the support and the tiles. We recommend that cork floor tiles should be varnished after installation (sealing of joints and improving wear resistance). Always varnish with a specially recommended varnish for cork floors. It is essential to follow the varnish supplier instructions strictly. These tiles are sold in packs of 11 tiles covering an area of 1.98sqm. Each tile is 60cm long and 30cm wide. Harvested cork oak trees store five times more carbon than unharvested trees since they use additional carbon to regenerate their bark.
