Galpharm Cystocalm - 6 Sachets Galpharm Cystocalm is intended for short-term symptomatic relief of urinary discomfort associated with cystitis and similar mild urinary tract irritation. It is recommended for adult women only and is not suitable for men or children. If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical advice. Each sachet contains a soluble powder to be mixed with a 200 ml glass of water and drunk immediately. The course is short: one sachet three times a day for two days as required. Do not exceed the stated dose and do not repeat the treatment without medical advice. If you accidentally take too many sachets, contact your doctor or pharmacist straight away. Key ingredients include sodium citrate (the active urinary alkaliniser) and sucrose. Each sachet contains 939 mg of sodium please take this into account if you are on a low-sodium diet. If you have been told you have an intolerance to some sugars, consult your doctor before use. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to sodium citrate or any other ingredients, or if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, a history of kidney disease, or are following a low-sodium diet. Avoid during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by your doctor.
