Chestnut Finishing Oil 500 ml Key Features: A blend of oils including tung oil; suitable for interior use (especially kitchens and bathrooms) and exterior use (including garden furniture and ornaments). Forms a seal on wood giving a tough water resistant finish. Several coats will build to a gloss finish if required. Specification: Typical uses: A tung-based oil which gives a very hard-wearing finish which is both heat and water resistant. Suitable for turned work, garden furniture, table tops and use in kitchens and bathrooms etc Method of application: Cloth or brush Drying time: Approx 4 hours Coverage: approx. 6-8 m² per litre. Compatibility: Sealers should not be used with this product. WoodWax 22 may be used on top of this product. Tips: This product can be used for exterior applications. Conforms to EN71 for use on toys Thinners: This product should not require thinning but it may thicken with age in which case use White Spirit. Safety Considerations: Cloths used for application must be laid flat to dry before disposal or kept in a screw capped glass jar (see Safety Data Sheet or warnings on can for full details).
