Robert Sorby 3/8" Round Skew Chisel - Unhandled, Sovereign Compatible - 813.3/8 Key Features: Round skews have been the choice of many production turners over the years. Intended for use on spindle work, their round shape makes these tools highly manoeuvrable in creating beads, coves and other details. Available in three sizes, these round skews can be used on work from fine miniatures to large structural projects. Many turners prefer to turn their tool handles to their own specifications. For those turners we offer here the un-handled version of Sorby's standard Spindle Gouge blade. These High Speed Steel (HSS) un-handled blades are identical to the ones found on the handled versions. The blade listed here will also fit the Sorby Sovereign System Handles. A Collet Adapter may be required if used with the Sovereign System. Check your manual for the size collet required if, any.ls are indispensable if a fine finish is required from the tool.
