TREND T18S/DSB 18V CORDLESS DETAIL SANDER BARE Combination fine finish sander for sanding large flat areas and detail work. The new Trend T18S/DSB Sander is a compact, lightweight unit. It is able to sand flat areas and, with the tapered nose that sits forward of the motor housing, allows you to sand right into corners. With this you can either remove old finishes or prepare new work ready for the finishing stages. With its large flat clothes iron base profile, it's the ideal solution for working on tasks such as doors with recessed panels. Driven by the Trend High Performance Motor at running at 11000 orbits per minute, the 1.6mm orbit pattern allows efficient stock removal and can leave a fine, professional finish when working through a range of abrasive grits. The 11 hole EVA hook and loop base takes the Trend High Performance range of abrasives and comes with 3 sheets included, along with a dust bag for waste management. The dust outlet ensures maximum efficiency and dust control when fitted to a suitable Extractor. A rubber over mould grip minimises vibration to aid comfortable operation. It also has a front mounted dust protected switch for easy operation whether left or right handed. Fitted with a 5Ah battery, the sander weighs just 1.8kg, making it ideal for easy manoeuvrability on horizontal surfaces. In runtime tests it achieved 65 minutes of sanding on beech worktop. For enhanced control on vertical applications, the high performance slimline 4Ah battery reduces the weight further and helps ease user fatigue while still achieving great performance.
