The Trend 18v Cordless Impact Driver features a High Performance Brushless Motor. The full metal gear box delivers an impressive 130Nm of torque and 3000 impacts per minute - to ensure continuous delivery of power fixing heavy duty screws up to 150mm in length. Alongside the two speed functions is the No Load Cut Off Reverse Function which intelligently shuts the tool off after the impact mechanism has released the fixing. Designed primarily for nuts and bolts, it's ideal when you need to remove or reposition a heavy fitting, whilst retaining a connection to prevent the fixing sliding or dropping prematurely. For general driving, the responsive variable speed trigger controls initial starting and final setting of any fixing, and it also activates the LED work light: perfect for positioning or removing fixings in low light. The sleeve chuck grips bits tightly and takes all standard 1/4in hex shank fittings to expand its capabilities into drilling applications, alongside the impressive driving functions. The brushless motor keeps the T18S-IDB compact, lightweight and balanced with any of the 5Ah, 4Ah or 2Ah battery options fitted, and has a slim sculpted grip with rubber overmoulds for comfortable control.
