TREND T18S/ROS125B 18V CORDLESS RANDOM ORBITAL SANDER 125MM BARE High performance variable speed 125mm Diameter sander for fast efficient stock removal and fine finishing. The new T18S/ROS125 125mm variable speed sander provides the ultimate sanding offering versatility and maximum stock removal. The random orbit has an eccentric abrasion pattern ideal for both fast stock removal and fine finishing, making it ideal for prepping and stripping old finishes back or sanding larger areas quickly. With variable speeds from 6000 to 12000 orbits per minute, it can also be used for applying polishes and waxes to a surface. The sander is ideal for materials where lower speeds are beneficial for finer controlled sanding on delicate surfaces, when a faster speed may generate higher friction heat. Taking the three Trend Xpert Li Ion batteries - with the 5Ah battery fitted, 50 minutes of sanding on a beech worktop was achieved, making it ideal for use in kitchen fits with either solid timber tops or composites. With the 4Ah fitted, the sander has enhanced balance for working on vertical surfaces such as prepping walls or sanding doors and panels in situ, while still retaining high power and performance. Rubber over moulds on the casing and a slim waist profile allows the sander to be gripped on top or around the waist, for better control in different applications. The dust shrouded control switch is well placed for left or right handed operation. The 8 hole hook and loop base is compatible with the Trend range of high quality abrasives and comes with 3 pieces included. The dust outlet ensures maximum efficiency and dust control when fitted to a suitable Extractor.
