Robert Sorby Turnmaster Titanium Nitrade Coated Replacement Cutters Tip: Round, Square and Detail Point Ref: RSTM-GT123 Key Features: A pack of three of the most popular cutters in Titanium Nitrade coated High Speed Steel The round is a general purpose cutter for the rapid removal of material inside and outside bowls and hollow forms. It works equally efficiently on spindle work. The detail point offers an excellent choice for roughing down square stock to round and for creating fine detail, while the square is useful for generating square shoulders on tenons. It is also excellent for spindle work. Both the square and round cutters deliver an extremely fine finish that requires little or no sanding when the TurnMaster is switched to shear scraping mode. Manufactured with Robert Sorby high speed steel and coated with durable titanium nitride coating ensures this cutter delivers outstanding material reliability. Sharpening: Use a diamond file or diamond plate flat across the top face. To gain best results and increase the longevity of the cutter this simple procedure should be done little and often. Use the TurnMaster cutter holder to reshape the profile on the Robert Sorby ProEdge using a diamond belt or on a grinding wheel using diamond or other high density abrasive material.
