TREND T18S/TSSB 18V CORDLESS THIRD SHEET SANDER - BARE The new Trend T18S/TSSB Third Sheet Sander offers a large sanding surface to increase productivity and stock removal, whilst allowing the user to maintain a greater accuracy of the head position when compared to ROS sanders. Powered by the Trend High Performance Motor, running at 13000 orbits per minute with a 2mm orbital pattern, it's the ideal sander for fine sanding on large flat areas such as prepping for a re-coat of paint or lacquer or for a fine finish on new work. Losing the constraints of a cable, it allows free, easy movement especially across wider surfaces; always an issue when trying to get a consistent fine finish where cables drag and snag as you go. This sander is compatible with both hook and loop abrasives and sheet abrasives. For the most efficient sanding solution, hook and loop is always the better choice for performance and efficient dust control. The direct bond to the EVA base ensures consistency and even wear for premium finishes and is supplied with 3 sheets of Trend's hook and loop abrasives. Wire retention clips allow the user to securely fit sheet/roll backed abrasive paper to the machine. A paper punch plate is provided to correctly pierce holes in the paper to give ensure maximum efficient dust extraction via the dust outlet to a suitable extractor. A dust collection bag is supplied. Weighing in at just over 2kg with the 5Ah battery fitted, the sander is powerful and easy to control on horizontal surfaces. Fitting the 4Ah Slimline battery reduces the weight further making it nimbler and more balanced when sanding vertical surfaces such as walls and doors while still achieving premium results.
