NOVA Outrigger Bowl Turning Support for Nova Galaxi DVR, Saturn DVR and 1624 XP Lathes Ref: 55223 Outrigger Only - no bowl rest supplied A well engineered accessory, the NOVA Galaxi outrigger is an impressive hunk of precision machined cast iron. Coupled with the swivelling head feature of your lathe, it allows you to realise the full potential of turning items up to 735mm(29") diameter. The outrigger gives you rigid strength, stability and vibration-free performance. It provides rock steady chisel support for all larger turning. The articulating arm has three points of adjustment, making it very quick and easy to move into position to get the best support for your turning. The quick action gives positive locking, ready to go in less than 30 seconds. The Outrigger bolts to the end of the headstock bed casting without adding to the footprint of the lathe. Convenient, when not in use, the outrigger swings out of the way. You can use your existing tool rest or any alternative with a 25.4mm (1") shank.
