Trend High Performance Brushless Motor 18V 165mm Cordless Circular Saw with Laser Guide Function and Rafter Hook - Bare Unit - no battery Ref - TRE/CS165B Trend’s new T18S/CS165B 165mm Cordless Circular Saw it features a High Performance Brushless Motor, which gives more power and runtime per charge (compared to brushed models), it also extends motor life. The Circular Saw has a compact, manoeuvrable design for increased control to ensure you can tackle any task required. When paired with the 5ah battery, the user gets maximum power and performance, such as cutting over 37 metres of 40mm thick laminated chipboard worktop in a runtime test. It’s equally at home in other applications such as converting sheet materials, ‘first fix’ timber dimensioning to garden decking and more. With a 55mm maximum depth of cut or up to 40mm deep on mitre cuts it ensures you can take the job to completion. There’s also an extra 5 degrees of overcut available for bevel work if needed; an ideal solution when dealing with those all too common out of square corners. The Circular saw is built to withstand daily trade use and also features aluminium top and bottom guarding, to keep you safe. Along with an aluminium milled base that allows the saw to track accurately against a straight edge or guides for precision cuts and is supplied with a side fence that allows repeatable narrow rips to be made with ease. Freehand cutting to layout marks is a cinch with the top mounted laser. Which beams directly onto the workpiece to ensure you’re on aligned before starting the cut, increasing accuracy and helping eliminate any need for correct as you complete the cut. The saw is compact enough to control one handed, if safe to do so, but for that extra control there is also a front handle that allows both hands to be used. The T18S/CS165B comes supplied with a high quality Trend CSB/16524TC 24 Tooth thin kerf blade, ideal for general purpose ripping and crosscutting. There are additional 165mm blades available with alternative tooth counts to suit different cut finishes.
