Robert Sorby Turnmaster Titanium Nitrade Coated Replacement Cutter Tip: Detail Point Ref: RSTM-GT2 Key Features: This cutter is perfect for roughing down square stock to round and is therefore ideal for spindle work. As its name suggests its fine point also allows for fine detail on bowls and spindles. Shear scraping with this cutter is NOT recommended. Made with M2 HSS and coated with hard wearing titanium nitride, these popular cutters offer excellent sharpness and durability while delivering Robert Sorby HSS reliability. Sharpening: Use a diamond file or diamond plate flat across the top face. To gain best results and increase the longevity of the cutter this simple procedure should be done little and often. Use the TurnMaster cutter holder to reshape the profile on the Robert Sorby ProEdge using a diamond belt or on a grinding wheel using diamond or other high density abrasive material.
