the Organicos. We've found the best-tasting Organic Beans out there
and cooked them for you in our slow, delicate way. All kinds of
beans are good for our soils, but you can rest assured that when
you're eating these Organic beauties, you're being extra kind to
those birds and bees! Bog standard supermarket beans are cooked as
a commodity. They need to be heated up quickly, to a SUPER high
temp, losing the nutrition and banging beany flavour along the way.
We cook ours slowly, in small batches and pour the brothy beans
into glass jars. Contains: Organic White Bean 700g: These white
haricot beans are slow-cooked with a pinch of salt, we recommend
subbing them for rice in your fave risotto recipe, or mashing them
up with butter for a protein-rich alternative to mash. 3 x Organic
Chickpeas 700g: These chickpeas are of the Pedrosillano variety.
They're a favourite amongst the hummus makers of this world for
their smooth + creamy texture with a subtle nutty
flavour.
