and sell beers in the 1860s from a brewery operating from the
centre of Alnwick, the capital of Northumberland. Since then,
Hotspur Holdings have taken over the brewery and moved into a brew
house at Hawkshill, Alnwick to ensure that the brand once again
operates its own brewery. A great Alnwick Ale gift box for a

beer lovers! Included: Alnwick IPA 50cl: Traditional India Pale Ale
A traditional India Pale Ale with an appealing hoppy aroma of
bitter oranges to start followed by a big hoppy taste packed with
bitter resins. It is nicely balanced, with just enough sweetness to
counter robust hops. Dry and very hoppy to finish. Alnwick Amber
Ale 50cl: The 'Triple A' Pint of the North. Classic amber ale with
a strong infusion of Fuggles and Styrian Goldings hops specifically
for the North Eastern palate to balance the best quality Maris
Otter and crystal malts base. Good hoppy nose and biscuit body. An
all day 'session' ale if ever there was one. Alnwick Gold 50cl: A
Modern English Golden Ale A brilliant golden (blonde) ale with an
especially pronounced hop character from its First Gold hops which
offers clean refreshing flavours and aromas. With its
well-structured malt body derived from finest Maris Otter malt, it
is a full bodied satisfying drink with a hint of honey in the
