The Horton Port and Cheese Box, featuring Quinta do
Portal Port. This 10 year old tawny port is from a family winery in
the heart of Quinta do Portal. This delicious drink has a pale gold
colour from its long exposure in oak casks where it has developed
fantastic fragrance, character and length of flavour. Rich, with
figs to the fore, the palate goes on and on with layers of dried
fruit flavours and a wonderful, refreshing, finish. Accordingly, we
have paired with a deliciously smooth Vintage Organic Cheddar by
Godminster. The organic cheddar cheese is made to a traditional
90-year-old recipe and matured for up to 12 months. Therefore, the
cheddar has a rich and full depth of flavour with a smooth texture.
