Blooming Gorse is combination of two single malts
whiskies, blended to celebrate the diversity in the highland region
of Scotland, matured in ex-Bourbon barrels. This whisky is floral
with hints of coconut and vanilla. Colour: Hay GoldNose: A fresh,
bright nose with vanilla and coconut notes that weave amongst the
nutty and fruity spirit to evoke the aromas of freshly bloomed
gorse flowers, geraniums, honey nut cereal and roasted cashew
nuts.Palate: The initial top notes are that of rich porridge
sweetened with floral honey. The mouth feel is smooth and creamy
with a mild spice and tingle on the palate and the flavour of
desiccated coconut.Finish: Medium length with lingering coconut and
vanilla. Selecting The Finest Spirits of Scotland We selected
spirit from two northern Highland distilleries; the first had
floral and citrus spirit flavours and the second was deeper and
richer with malty characteristic. Sourcing The Best In Oak Cases
The two Highland malt whiskies were matured in a combination of 1st
fill bourbon barrels and hogsheads to transform the spirit
character with light and creamy American oak led flavours. Hand
