Cinnamon is a spice that comes from the inner bark of
tropical trees. When the bark is removed and dried, it curls into
'sticks'. Its aromatic and warm flavour is perfect for sweet dishes
like poached pears or custards but it's also fantastic is savoury
in Asian, Middle Eastern and North African dishes like tagines and
casseroles. Ground Cinnamon is not as strong as the sticks an is
especially divine when added to hot chocolate or milky coffee. A
less calorific alternative is to juice a few of your favourite
apples, warm it up and add a dash of cinnamon for some spice. Our
seasoning mixes come in a reusable packet. The convenient zip of
