originates from Zadar, on Croatia's Dalmatian coast. Maraska uses
the original Maraschino recipe from the 16th century, devised by
pharmacists of the Dominican monastery and later re-discovered by
Francesco Drioli. After the destruction of Zadar during World War
II, Maraska distillery regrew the liqueur's infamy and brought back
the region's most famous creation. Deeply set with a tradition in
