There are 4 types of dragon fruit but here at Kooky,
we love the red-flesh variation for its appealing colour and more
intense flavour. Red dragon fruit is also really nutritious as a
source of carotene, Vitamin C and anthocyanins. Gently dried dragon

while doing the school runs, Aline & Deena hit it off
immediately. Bonded by their Asian roots and Western upbringings,
they discovered they both shared a passion for Asian fruits. The
lack of dried exotic fruit was quite apparent and they felt it was
a gap that had to be filled. Nearly 2 years in the making, Kooky
launched in July 2021 with a mission to make exotic fruits more
available. All the fruits are sourced from the best ethical &
sustainable farms in Thailand, which adhere to humanitarian
guidelines. The fruits are dried into Kooky fruits using renewable
energy. They also believe in the importance of empowering others.

charity very closed to their heart, helping women in war-torn
