extracted from the young leaves of wheat by dehydrating the green
juice of the leaves to a fine powder at room temperature, using a
patented spray-drying process. Interesting Fact:Did you know that
wheatgrass is a complete protein containing approximately 70%
chlorophyll and 30 enzymes and trace minerals? Chlorophyll is
similar in structure to haemoglobin, an iron-containing pigment
that carries oxygen from the lungs to the tissues of the body. The
nutrient rich drink was recommended by the Swiss doctor Dr
Bircher-Benner whom used green juices at his health sanatorium in
Zurich believing that getting chlorophyll rich foods into the human

Usage Add to teas, juices, smoothies, and shakes, stir in to dips
and soups to boost their enzyme and amino acid content, or add to

mixes easily. The powder can also be mixed with yogurt and other

recommended that you start with a small amount around 1 teaspoon
