Specifically for this expression, the quality core of rum has
teamed up with black cherry to create a full-flavoured spirit
bursting with tangy, vibrant fruit notes. It's naturally flavoured
to bring across authentic cherry elements, so expect a drink that
will most certainly do very well with cola, as well as being more
than suitable for sipping over ice or in a cocktail. Plus, the
bottle itself is rather neat too, featuring a flake of 23 karat
gold leaf! Nose: Blackcurrant, cough drops, a little pinch of
cinnamon, marzipan, mango, and just a waft of spring blossom.
Palate: Cherry Bakewells, brown sugar, more festive spices, a
smidge of vanilla pod earthiness building, amaretti biscuits.
Finish: Softly tannic, with ripe cherry and spiced fruit compote
notes. Overall: Cherry notes galore, with a backbone of rum
