A combination of two single malts, blended to
celebrate the diversity in the highland region of Scotland. This
whisky is sweet, subtly smokey with a gentle spice. We selected
spirit from 2 Highland distilleries; the first with a long sweet
peat smoke and the second with a very intense, oily and maritime
peat smoke. Colour: Muted GoldNose: The initial nose is sweet and
candy like; foam shrimps and strawberry bonbons. Mineralic notes
emerge in the form of limestone and fresh seaside air. A mild and
perfumed smoke is only hinted at like a distant beachside
bonfire.Palate: A complex battle between sweet and savoury with
heather honey, cinder toffee and marshmallows. The savoury and
maritime notes take form as rollmops or salted oat cakes and
scallops cooked in butter with tarragon.Finish: Burnt wholemeal
toast smeared with chunky peanut butter and a peppery spice.
Sourcing The Best In Oak Cases The sweeter, smoky east coast spirit
was matured in 1st fill bourbon barrels whilst the west coast
Highland island in dechar/rechar hogsheads. Hand Selected Only When
The Spirit And Wood Are In Absolute Harmony 1st fill bourbon
sweetened and added candy notes to the east coast whisky whilst the
dechar/rechar hogsheads created a spicy and resinous punch to the
Highland island malt whisky. Expertly Blended To Represent A
Singular Style of Whisky Flaming Feast is a complex and
mouth-watering whisky with juxtaposing sweet and savoury flavours
