Ceramic Disk technology allows for you to choose
screw down or quarter turn tap heads for your bathroom. Supplied
with flow straighter, for use with low water pressure, and a
neoperl aerator, for use with high water pressure, giving you a
constant steady stream of water. The aerators are designed to limit
the flow of water to a fixed rate, regardless of the incoming water
pressure, so you have optimal performance from your tap, without
wasting any water. Aerators create the 'champagne' effect in the
flow of the water. All Birkenhead taps have a four spindle tap head
with a black or white ceramic indices in the centre. Manufactured
from brass ingots and chrome plated to 0.3-0.4 micron. This tap is
not compatible with Kensington tap handles. The right hand side is
the on/off control and the left hand side is the thermostatic mixer
valve. This conforms to TMV 2 standards. All Burlington
thermostatic brassware and showering valves use Vernet wax
capsules, meaning temperature when in use will not vary by more
than one degrees
