It is recommended for patients (adults and children as advised by a healthcare professional) who require a targeted antibacterial ointment for the eye. Use only when recommended by your doctor or pharmacist. This sterile ointment (until opened) gives prolonged contact with the eye surface to help combat bacterial infection. Do not use if the seal is broken. If you wear contact lenses, do not wear them during treatment and avoid soft contact lenses for 24 hours after finishing therapy. Wash hands before and after use.
