In the office we thought what is one of the most wasted food items out there? It turns out bananas are one of the most wasted produce out there as so many of us just don’t eat them in time and then throw them out when they turn brown. We came up with this baking mix to help reduce the wastage of bananas! Use up those old, brown bananas you have sitting around in your kitchen- it will not only help you use them up but it will also add a delicious, sweet banana taste! I must say, this mix has got to be one of my favourites in our entire range! I hope you love it too!” Julianne, owner xHow to Use 3 large ripe bananas 40g dairy-free spread pinch of cinnamon (optional) How to make: Preheat oven to 180 c/400 f/ Gas Mark 6 Mash up the bananas in a mixing bowl with a fork, then pop in the other ingredients and give it all a good stir! (Singing loudly at this point is reported to improve taste). Spoon the yummy mixture into a grease-proof 2lb loaf tin. Bake between 25 mins, until beautifully brown on top, then cover with foil and bake for another 20 mins. Share with friends, or gobble it all up, your choice!
