Stair Cladding Finishing Kit OSMO POLY-OIL CLEAR MATT FINISH with Lint Free Application cloths We recommend that you apply Osmo Oil to our ranges of Stair Cladding. It is hardwaring and gives a natural finish to the timber Osmo Plyx – Oil has been specifically designed to put a very durable, microporous coating onto wooden floors. This matt finish oil can be applied using the lint free cloth to provide a water and dirt resistant finish. We recommend a coat of Osmo Oil is applied and allowed to dry thoroughly before installation and then a final coat applied after installation This 0.75lt tin will cover 18 square metres. As a guide a 1000mm tread and riser set is 0.5 of a square metre. A staircase clad with 12 treads & risers will require approx.. 12 square metres if using 2 coats. Osmo Ployx – Oil takes about 8-10 hours to dry depending on the temperature in your home. You must keep the area well ventilated during the drying time OSMO Polyx – Oil is Human and animal safe when dry.
