Kiln dried sandIs very dry fine sand that contains no moisture. The sand is used to fill the joints of block paving and paving slabs. By filling the joints with kiln dried sand you keep the structure of the paving rigid and strong. It also stops the ingress of water & stops the paving from moving and becoming loose. The sand isdried in a kiln to remove all the waterbefore it is ready to use. The sand is supplied bagged and dry. It is an extremely fine sand that will flow easily into the joints and gaps in block paving and paving slabs. Simply empty the bag on to your paving flags or block paving and brush in to the joints. Coverage: Per 25kg Bag - 50mm joint depth 6-8m2 / 60mm joint depth 4.5-6.5m2 / 80mm joint depth 3.5-5.5m2 Please note this is approximate. Delivery: Please do not book in any tradepersons to be on site before your product has landed to avoid disappointment. Please allow easy access for large 18 tonne vehicle to crane off in to position. Any issues with access please contact us prior to your delivery so we can ensure the delivery process will go smoothly. Deliveries can only be made to the kerbside of your address and then craned onto location. Items can be dropped up to 5 meters from kerbside. It is up to the customer (you) to move any product to where you need it to be from there. The hauliers/suppliers/couriers we use are only insured to drop kerbside, so please bare in mind when thinking about where you need the product. The delivery vehicles may only stick to the public roads and not go on any private land - unless permission is granted by the land owner.
