The Aussie Face Mask combines Australian Pink Clay with Oatmeal, Qasil and Vitamin E making it the perfect choice for sensitive skin. This gentle pink clay contains silica, magnesium, selenium and zinc. Combining these ingredients makes pink clay great for skincare, in particular, the care of sensitive, dry or eczema-prone skinColloidal oatmeal helps to protect the natural barriers of the skin and it locks in moisture because of its unique lipid profile. Colloidal oatmeal is particularly helpful for those that suffer from eczema, as it helps to reduce redness and itchiness due to its anti-inflammatory properties. Some of the oat phenols are also strong ultraviolet absorbers. The cleansing activity of oat is mostly due to saponins. Its many functional properties make colloidal oatmeal a cleanser, moisturizer, buffer, as well as a soothing and protective anti-inflammatory agent. The core ingredient is "Qasil" – a powerful soap-free cleansing powder that is naturally derived from the ‘Gob’ tree which grows in East Africa. The Qasil leaves are collected, crushed into powder and used in their raw and unprocessed form.
